Boarding Facilities Milnerhaus Kennels offers boarding to all breeds of dogs 4 months of age and older. All owners must provide proof of current vaccinations against Rabies, Distemper (combo vaccine), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) for their dog(s) in accordance with Pennsylvania State Law. The kennel buildings consist of indoor/outdoor runs, allowing the dogs access to a full 4’ x 18’ of space during good weather. During inclement weather, the dogs are kept inside the heated buildings and allowed time outside periodically throughout the day. All runs are disinfected every day and each dog is kept in a separate run to promote cleanliness and reduce stress. Milnerhaus has consistently received excellent ratings from state inspectors since opening in 1986. Boarding rates - $18 per night, per dog. We accept personal checks, cash, money orders or travelers’ checks. Please Note--we do not accept Debit or Credit cards. Reservations are required. Grooming Facilities “You Dirty Dog” grooming salon, located in the same building as Milnerhaus Kennels, offers grooming and bathing services for all breeds of dogs and cats. Appointments are required and are available Monday through Saturday. (We recommended calling two to three weeks in advance, especially during the busy summer months.) Our professional groomer, Marie Brennan, is able to handle all styles of cut, including customer special requests. She prides herself on her ability to safely handle all pets, including those that are less co-operative, with minimal stress on the animal. No drugs or tranquilizers of any kind are used and all animals are handled professionally. Rates vary depending on size, coat condition, and behavior of each animal.
